Balboa the Woolly Pandaphant

Hello Everyone!

If you have been following our Facebook fan page you may have seen our work in progress photos of a new woolly pandaphant.  We completed him earlier today...Meet Balboa....

Balboa stands about 14" tall and is made from hand-dyed brown and stone mohair.  We haven't created a woolly in a while, and I really enjoyed making this one.

This week I am working on a red/white/blue custom bear, a large custom black bear, a custom mini black bear, and three new bears for our website.  So there is a lot going on in our studios, and it is always fun and exciting!

Tu the Panda Bear

Hi There!

I hope you are all having a fabulous week so far.  I'm so excited to introduce you to Tu, our new panda bear!

Tu is made from extra long black and white mohair, and he has big blue eyes.  We really enjoyed creating him!  Tu is currently available for adoption from our website, and you can find him here:

My parents are visiting with us, and this weekend we are taking the girls to the San Diego Safari Park.  I'm really looking forward to it.  Now that they are both at an age where they can enjoy it, I can't wait to become frequent visitors again!

Paulie the Panda Bear

Happy May!

I'm thinking a cute panda is a great way to start the month!  Meet Paulie...

Paulie stands approx. 11" tall, and is created from lovely white and honey mohair.  We really enjoyed creating Paulie, and I'm especially fond of his cute expression.

It was a gorgeous weekend here in California, and the next few days are suppose to be near 100 degrees!  I think we will just stay indoors and create until it cools down.  If you have a chance I would love to hear what you think of Paulie.

Tye the Bear

We have such a cute bear available this evening!  Meet Tye...

Tye stands approximately 11" tall, and is made from rich cream mohair.  He has  hand-painted blue glass eyes, an adorable expression, and tons of details.  He is firmly stuffed and is weighted with steel shot.

I'm going to need to get more stuffing this week as we are working on several large custom bears and they sure take a lot of it!  We are working on a few smaller bears, and also a large pandaphant woolly.   It's going to be a busy week!

A New Chubby Bear Design!

Hi There!

We have an adorable mohair panda bear available today!  Meet Cubby...

Cubby is a new design, and he stands 11" tall,.  He is made from beautiful rust and white mohair.  We hand-painted his glass eyes, and he has needle felted wool eye areas and paw pads.

This weekend has been just gorgeous, and all of my rose bushes are in full bloom.  I just love this time of year!

Bailey the Miniature Bear

Hi There!

We have an adorable miniature bear available on ebay for the next 3 days!  Meet Bailey...

Bailey sits just 1 1/2" tall, and is sculpted from epoxy resin.  We then gave him a gorgeous honey alpaca coat and beautiful brown eyes.  His head is moveable, and his limbs are in a fixed position.  I love that he is so super tiny!

It's been a busy week in our studios!  We are both working on several custom order bears, and I am also working on a cute cream colored bear :o)

Spark the Snowy Owl

Hi There!

We have a gorgeous snowy owl with bright blue eyes available tonight!  Meet Spark...

Spark was created with dense Schulte mohair.  We love to work with this fur as it is extra thick, and super soft.  Spark is our first owl to have bright blue hand-painted eyes.  He stands approx. 4" tall.

My parents are celebrating the holiday with us, which is always a great time.   The girls have been so happy playing with their grandparents!  Bruce has even traded hanging out with me in my studio for hanging out by his grandparents side.
